For the second year in a row I am state champion in the Hunt Seat Equitation 18-35 division. It was an exciting night full of many congratulations, smiles and photo opportunities. It also signifies a big stepping stone for me as a rider. I can now move up in height to 3 foot 6 inches. This summer I did some jumper classes over in California and I jumped 3 foot 9 inches but it wasn't official. I am so excited to try a new height and venture into the Jumper divisions officially. I rode against some amazing riders this year and I feel privledged to have been able to watch them and at times, beat them :). For any of you interested in this passion of mine, my 2009 show season starts the second week of February out at the Pima County Fairgrounds. Wish us luck!
