Valentine's Day EVERY DAY!

Valentine's Day is every day in this house because we love our little Lillian Fay so much.
She is a whirlwind and gets into everything.  She can have every drawer and cupboard empty and the contents strewn around the house in thirty seconds flat.

Lillian's little body is plum full of curiosity and I am convinced she makes messes so quickly because she has to explore as many things as she can during the day.

Can you see the nose of the horse she is peering at?

Sometimes, her curiosity gets her into situations she does not enjoy.  Am I an awful mother because I had to get the camera before rescuing her?
I helped my dad's girlfriend, Jean, make Valentine's Day cookies to sell as a fundraiser for Tucson Nursery School.  My job was to create cookie toppers.  These are a few of the designs we came up with:
In honor of V-day, Josh and I attended a Sweetheart Dance hosted by our church.  We had a fantastic time dancing, stuffing our faces, and spending time together.

I was shocked when, at the end of the night, it was announced I had been voted "Dancing Diva."  I am not the best dancer, so I was pleasantly pleased my moves had inspired people.
Lillian was the cutest Valentine I have ever had the pleasure of having (sorry Josh) and we had fun dancing, smelling roses, and playing with her Valentine's gift from Nonie.

Walking is no longer a difficult task.  Her mission now is to learn to run, which she will be doing VERY soon.

We enjoy our walks together and I swear, she never gets tired.  She walked lap after lap at the horse show without even slowing down.  She was a great helper too.  Her new favorite thing is pointing.  Before her eyes are even all the way open in the morning, she is pointing, wanting to know the names of everything around her.

The horse show was fun even though we were plagued by first snow,

and then mud.

Everyone did well despite the wacky weather and the Budweiser Clydesdales stopped by for a visit.

February went out with a bang when I realized Lillian has a little tooth pocking out of her guns!  Her teether of choice?  Her dad's toothbrush.

The horse shows and teething have left us a bit tired but no worse for the wear.
Now it is on to March!
