About a half an hour ago Josh and I were walking home from the dog park in the dark. As we were walking, the dogs running ahead of us, we were talking and laughing, picking our way through the rocks. All of a sudden I felt something squishy beneath my right foot. I looked down and saw a rattlesnake stuck underneath my flip flop. I screamed, of course, and jumped out of the way. The rattlesnake began to rattle his tail and it wasn't until Josh heard that eerie sound that he understood what was going on. The last half hour I have been thanking Heavenly Father for my safety. Every day I pray for my safety and the safety of the ones I love and today's experience bore testimony to me that my Father in Heaven hears my prayers and answers them. I just keep thinking of all the things that could have happened. I could have been alone, one of the dogs could have been bitten, there are hundreds of things that could have gone wrong and I am so thankful that none of those things occured.

Oh my word! That is so scary! Where exactly were you walking? I'm so glad nothing happened and that you were protected. Thanks for your testimony. Also, I love that quote you have below. It seems like forever since I've seen you. We need to get together soon! Hope you have good kids this year.
That was Kylee. :)
