For as long as I can remember I have been going to Pacific Beach in San Diego. I have made many wonderful memories there with family and friends and this year it was fun to be able to bring Lillian with me to continue this summer tradition.

Lillian loved watching people walk up and down the boardwalk. People would see her perched on the wall and would laugh and point and take her picture. She was very popular! A few of my favorite comments were: "You two win for cutest baby!", "Someone should take a picture of your baby and make a doll that looks like her!", and one evening, as Josh was flying her down the boardwalk, she smiled at a man walking by and he laughed and said, "That made my day!" |
Lillian was a true beach bum napping in the sand in the afternoons.
These sunglasses are still too big for her little face but we couldn't resist putting them on her. She reminds me of the woman in Monster's Inc that says, "I'm watching. Always watching."
The water was too cold for her to swim in but she enjoyed watching the waves touch her toes.
Our favorite thing to do while we are in San Diego is ride our beach cruisers. Lillian had fun riding in her "Space Ship" behind us.
While everyone else rocked their bathing suit. Little Miss Fay stayed bundled up like an old woman in her and hat.
We can't wait for next year when she can toddle around and maybe get into the water in her little wetsuit!
