Valentine's Day has never been a favorite holiday of mine. I think you should be doing Valentine's type things for the person you love year round. However, my negative attitude was making me feel like the Grinch this year so I decided to try to be more lovey dovey and do something nice to celebrate.
First, I went with my aunt Renee to help decorate Valentine's Day cookies that my dad's girlfriend makes each year for charity. We had a great day talking and decorating.
I spent the morning out at the Pima County Fairgrounds helping set up for the horse show. It was windy and raining and then all of a sudden it began to snow!!
Josh was in class all day and when he came home, much to his surprise, I had made him red velvet pancakes with cream cheese topping. Boy were they yummy!
It was a fun evening and I am glad I took the time to do something special. I even bought a cute dress for the occasion but I forgot to get a picture of that!
