Out with the old....
In with the new!
Josh has been trying to get me to sell my "baby" truck for about 5 years now. I have been putting it off because I love my truck. I have had it since I was a junior in high school and it has served me well. It kept me safe in several wrecks and has always started when I needed it to. I have slept in it, fought in it, cried in, made-out in it, and gotten ready for school in it. Plus, you have to admit, it looks pretty dang good for being 15 years old! I probably would have driven it until it blew up, thrown a new engine in it, and driven it another 217,000 miles. "Mr. Bojangles" has become a piece of me and my identity over the years, a constant in an ever changing world. That may sound dramatic but I get very attached to things. Well, the other day Josh found a deal he just couldn't pass up and I had to sell my beloved little truck. It didn't go far, it now belongs to my dad's best friend but it still hurts because it's no longer mine. I will admit a few tears were shed. It just isn't the same driving Josh's little car, "Smokey Pete", everywhere. That car isn't me. But...Josh is very excited about the new truck and we are currently thinking of names for it. Let me know if you have any good ones in mind.
