I was Reserve Champion in the AHJA Jr/Am Medal finals this year. It was an exciting night that ended up being full of surprises. There are three phases to the medal finals, a written exam and two jumping phases. I did well on the exam but recieved a rather low score on my first jumping round. I was bummed when I heard the announcer say the score because I felt like it was a really good round. I was in sixth place going into my second round. My second round was near perfect though and I ended up moving into second place. I can't wait until next year!
